Wetback 21st Birthday Charity Ball 2012

On 28 July 2012, Wetback Contracts celebrated their 21st birthday in the form of a charity ball in aid of StopRhinoPoaching.com.

The evening was attended by friends, business partners, clients, suppliers and colleagues. Together, R 334 150 was raised! In conjunction with African Conservation Trust KZN and StopRhinoPoaching.com; the funds will be utilised in the Rhino Project in the Eastern Cape. See the monthly newsletter (available on the website) for updates on this project.

The evening was lead by MC Barney Simon from Jacaranda FM who have also played a vital part in raising awareness and funds for StopRhinoPoaching.com. The Parlotones, who have also done a great deal to raise funds for StopRhinoPoaching.com, performed live on the evening. Ice Project, a new and upcoming South African band was also there to open the stage for The Parlotones.

Funds were raised through ticket sales and an auction of authentic South African memorabilia as well as a set of gold coins sponsored by SA Gold Coin and Michelle Bradshaw, actress in the MNet hit TV series The Wild.

Wetback would like to thank everyone for their involvement in making this evening a great success!
